After hearing various news items on podcasts and by searching myself on the interweb, I found out that a non-public beta of Google Earth for Mac had been released. After finding it (which didn’t prove easy) I was gutted to discover that it wouldn’t work… It probably needed Tiger (and being me, I haven’t upgraded), so when the app searched for the file /System/Library/Frameworks/Quartz.framework/Versions/A/Quartz and couldn’t find it, it just crashed, telling me the above in the eroor log. Does this file only exist in 10.4, or is the beta slightly screwed up. Probably the former is the case!
Anyway, just wait till I upgrade to a better Mac…
